Like I need another project! ………..

I just had an awesome idea! On my post about the puppy mills, Margaret Blackman posted a comment that there is a third way to check out an approved breeder. The fact that a reputable breeder will always CHECK YOU OUT. They approve YOU. They do a home visit to YOUR house.

Here are the three simple questions:

1) Can I visit your facility?
2) Can I meet the puppy’s parents?
3) Do you require a home visit?

So, that got me to thinking about how people who purchase puppies from cutesy websites from across the country can implement those three questions.

There are rescue groups ALL OVER the country. There are Rescue Transport groups all over the country. We need to start a network to help people check out a potential puppy’s situation. Ultimately, this function will help us, as we could maybe put them out of business!

I am well-aware that Nebraska is a huge puppy mill state. Our laws suck.

If ANYONE reading this is interested in purchasing a puppy from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota, please contact us. We will absolutely find a way to check out the breeder for you.

The chances are VERY good that these “breeders” wont want someone nosing around and checking them out. That will tell you, the purchaser, all you need to know!
